Artist Statement:
In my creative imagination I am standing at the rear of the Orchestra at the Arena Di Verona, Italia.
I can sense the atmosphere and excitement of the moment, as everyone is waiting In anticipation for the Overture for Verdi’s well loved Opera, Aida to commence.
I can also feel the tension in the air from all the performers, Orchestra, Directors and the many back stage assistance in putting on this extravagance.
My adrenalin and motivation is also running high to start applying Oils with my Palette Knife skills to create my impressionistic version and try to capture the essence of the ensuing moment.
