A writer whose work has appeared in newspapers and magazines around Australia, Megan is also an artist and illustrator.
In 2014 she started the online art business, Hangdog, on the whiff of a liver treat. She now creates dog-themed artworks and merchandise for dog lovers around the world.
Her work is offbeat but understated, capturing gesture, character and emotion with a light touch. Her limited edition fine art prints are painted on an iPad. She also wrangles wire, hand-stitching 3D dogs into sustainable timber box frames.
She has held several solo exhibitions and participated in group shows around Western Australia. Her work appears at various galleries around the country, and in private collections from Bicton to Bath.
Megan is the author of Word of Dog (Fremantle Press, 2019), a picture book for grown-ups. She lives in Fremantle.
