Please join us in welcoming Australian artist Kiandra Buchanan to The Studio Gallery. Originally from Naarm/Melbourne and now based in Wadandi Boodja/Margaret River, Kiandra’s practice focuses on still life paintings in oils. Her works explore softness, intimacy, and the beauty of the everyday, often finding inspiration in ordinary subjects transformed by light and colour. Her technique celebrates the immediacy of alla prima painting, building textured and luminous layers that invite the viewer into a contemplative space. Recognised as a finalist in several national prizes, Kiandra’s art has been featured in publications such as The Design Files and Inside Out Magazine, and continues to resonate deeply with collectors.
