Inspired from recent travels to the Kimberley, WA artist Bronwen Newbury pays tribute to the beauty of our wide state with her new collection Homage to WA.
 
Known mostly for her quintessential beach scenes depicting fun, family and dogs, Bronwen delivers another side to her artistic practise capturing the intense and breathtaking contrasts of the Kimberley. Using line, light and colour, her distinct style of a pared down reality depicts the extraordinary landscape and stunning coastline beautifully. The pindan red dirt, Kimberley ochres, white sand and striking aqua waters has led Bronwen to creating a collection that is nothing short of magical.
 
Homage to WA is an exhibition that allows the viewer to immerse themselves into one of the world’s most ancient landscapes, inspiring emotion within, igniting memories and dreams of our vast beautiful state.
