A collection of new works by Laura Matthews.

Laura’s first exhibition at The Studio Gallery was in 2012 and each subsequent year she has presented a new body of work.

In each exhibition, Laura endeavoured to explore new ideas and to find fresh expression in each series. This exhibition is a survey.

“As I enter my eleventh year with the Gallery, it seemed appropriate to reprise some of the more iconic images of the past. It has been a wonderfully enjoyable process, not without its challenges but it has allowed me to reimagine ideas that continue to percolate. With each image there is a vivid memory, seered into my consciousness.

Seen, imagined, interpreted and subsequently remembered, reimagined and reinterpreted an evolution which continues long after the initial moment of inspiration!”
