He creates a whimsical world inhabited by birds of all shapes and sizes, striped trees and puppet-like people taking us into a wonderful realm of colour and shimmering glazes. Every painting is like a stage allowing the viewer to interpret the action. Working in meticulous layers upon the canvas a story is composed while the image evolves, the viewer is invited to discover the artist’s narrative or invent one of their own.
