Journey then and now Jennifer’s work explores themes of memory, connection and sensory experience through the subject of landscape. “My work has always been inspired by a response to the landscape and the environment in which I live. Initially I painted predominately in acrylic using bold colour and an impressionistic style. However, over time my colour palette has become more restrained and, with the use of additional mediums (mainly encaustic), the work is pared back, incorporating mark making and elements of abstraction.” Jennifer Sadler 2021
