Artist statement: Painting these interiors were a huge challenge for me, ones thought processes must alter somewhat, from the great outdoors, to my close up and messy workplace. Nevertheless I enjoyed every minute and found myself seeing my studio and the chaos from a different viewpoint. My excitement growing with every brushstroke until finally the canvas became forms and blobs of colour, that made sense of this chaos, my created chaos, a place that I feel comfortable messing in, splashing and dripping paint. My floor, walls and easels will testify to that!
