Biography:

"I am a mixed media and textile artist living in Yallingup, Western Australia.

I am largely self-taught, but have taken numerous courses in textile work here in Australia and in the UK. I now work mainly with wool, silks and other natural fibres.

I have been captivated by traditional felt-making processes, its sensual quality and the huge potential of felt as an artistic medium.

My felting journey has taken me from thick felt slippers and hats to fine nuno-felted scarves and silk tops. I have worked on two-dimensional pieces and explored three-dimensional works such as my Art to Wear garments and sculptural pieces.

I continue to push and explore new forms and techniques to create sustainable artworks and give full rein to the inspirations of nature, colour, pattern and texture."
